Robert and I enjoyed traditional matcha (whisked tea)
at a beautiful outdoor setting at Kinkakuji (the Golden Pavilion).

Megumi: When I grow up, can I be a monk?
Me: But, you're not even Buddhist.
Megumi: Do I have to be?
Me: *sigh*

Ume: There's just one little fox here. I hope that he isn't lonely.

Megumi: What is this thing?
Me: I'm not sure, but they were hanging all
over the place below Kiyomizudera, so I decided
to buy one at a shrine.
Megumi: It's weird, but cute.
