Asukusa & Odaiba

Our first outing to the Asukusa Temple complex.
Megumi finds a friend right away.

And Ume discovers that she likes foxes too.

Ume: Look! They're as tiny as me!

Ume: What's with the apron? Is he a messy eater?
Me: Only when he eats little girls.
Ume: Eek!

Everything else was big at Asukusa. Big lanterns.

Big flowers.

More big flowers.

Big sandals.

After all the big things, Megumi was happy to
find a nice, small playground to play in for a while.

I love the mix of things in Japan.
