Megumi: Is that the plane we're going to be on?
Me: I think so.
Megumi: It looks really heavy. How does it fly?
Me: I try not to think about things like that.

Megumi: I'm bored. Even Bun-bun is bored.
Why did we have to get here so early?

Megumi: Wow! This is so exciting! Everything is so tiny!

Megumi: Gee, now all I can see are clouds and
it's so bright. When do we get there?

Megumi: These seats are pretty comfortable.
Can I have a pillow and blanket?

Me: I think your dinner looks better than mine.

We finally make it to the ryokan in Tokyo and Megumi has
his first view of Japanese television.
Megumi: It looks like we're going to have nice weather.

One tired little boy tucked into his first
traditional Japanese bed.
